A
Vibrant Worshipping Fellowshipping Community
Asian Indian Christian Church of Pittsburgh
(AICCP) is a non-denominational church,
inaugurated on Sunday, December 12, 1999.
The primary focus of this church is to allow people from the Indian
subcontinent—India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Singapore, and other
neighboring countries— to gather and worship God and grow and mature in the
knowledge of Jesus Christ. The church, however, welcomes all people. In fact,
the church is assuming a multi-racial and ethnic identity in the recent months
The church came into being to fulfill a long-felt need among the Indian
Christian community in Pittsburgh. The church services are conducted in
English, a common language for the multi-lingual groups of Indians and
Americans. This also caters to the needs of our children, who are comfortable
with the English language. Every worship service is followed by a fellowship hour.

Who we are
We are a Bible-based Church
We give importance to studies from the Word of God. We believe that God
reveals himself to us when we study the Bible in community. We have monthly,
bimonthly, and weekly interactive Bible studies in the Greater Pittsburgh area.
Small Group settings do provide us opportunities to raise questions that touch
our lives We have an Adult Sunday School before the Worship Service. Our annual
Bible Quiz provides us opportunity to pay attention to each word or phrase from
the passage. We want to make the Word of God norm for our lives.
We are a Christ-centered Church
Our worship, ministry, and activity are built around the gospel of Jesus
Christ. We try to care for each other with the compassion Jesus has shown us.
We are a Spirit-empowered Church
We rely upon Holy Spirit to guide us in all our ministries. It is a great
experience how the Spirit leads us. The Spirit convicts us when we go wrong,
coaxes us to action when we become lazy, encourages us when we are down, and
rejoice with us when we celebrate. Without the guidance of the Spirit, our
church would not be where it is now.
The Trinitarian God is for us, with us, and in us. We praise God from whom
all blessings flow! |
