AICCP was founded by Pastor Thinagar Sitther. He is a graduate of Hesston College, Hesston, Kansas and an ordained minister of the Mennonite Church USA. In 1998 he was called to Pittsburgh by the Allegheny Mennonite Conference to plant a church among the people from the Indian sub-continent and by the end of 1999 the church now known as AICCP was founded.
